Smoke Tracker is built with privacy by design. Every aspect of the app is designed to keep your personal data completely private:

3.1 Data Stored Locally on Your Device Only

The following information is stored in a local SQLite database on your device and never transmitted anywhere:

• Cigarette/Vape entries: Date, time, count, and personal notes for each session
• Trigger data: Situations, emotions, or contexts (stress, social, boredom, habit, craving)
• User preferences: Daily limits, cost per pack, cigarettes per pack, theme settings
• Progress statistics: Calculated metrics, trends, and patterns based on your data
• Reminders: Custom notification schedules you set up
• App settings: Theme preferences, haptic feedback, notification preferences

3.2 Technical Information (Optional & Anonymous)

We may collect very limited, anonymous technical information to improve app stability:

• Crash reports: Anonymous technical data when the app unexpectedly closes (no personal data included)
• Basic usage analytics: Anonymous data about app launches and feature usage (opt-in only)
• Device compatibility: Device model and OS version for compatibility testing (anonymous)

Important: All technical data is completely anonymized and cannot be linked back to you, your identity, or your smoking data. You can opt out of analytics entirely in the app settings.

4. How We Use Your Information

4.1 Local Data Processing

Your smoking data is processed entirely on your device to:

• Display your smoking history and patterns
• Calculate statistics and trends
• Identify triggers and provide insights
• Track your progress toward goals
• Generate health milestone notifications

4.2 Technical Data

Anonymous technical data helps us:

• Fix bugs and improve app stability
• Understand which features are most helpful

5. Third-Party Services

We work with the following services, but none of them have access to your smoking data:

5.1 RevenueCat (Subscription Management)

We use RevenueCat to manage premium subscriptions and in-app purchases. RevenueCat may collect:

• App user ID (anonymous identifier)
• Purchase transaction data
• Device type and OS version
• Subscription status

Important: RevenueCat does NOT have access to your smoking data, which stays on your device.

5.2 Firebase (Optional Analytics & Crash Reporting)

If you enable analytics, we use Firebase for anonymous crash reporting and usage statistics:

• Anonymous crash logs (no personal data)
• Basic app usage metrics (feature usage, not smoking data)
• Device model, OS version, app version

You can opt out in Settings → Privacy → Disable Analytics.

5.3 Google Play Services

The app uses Google Play Services for app distribution, updates, and in-app billing.

6. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We cannot share what we don't have. Since all your personal smoking data is stored locally on your device and never transmitted to our servers, we have nothing to sell, trade, or share with third parties.

6.1 Legal Requirements & Government Requests

We cannot comply with data requests because we don't have your data.Since your smoking logs, triggers, and personal notes are stored only on your device, there is no data on our servers for law enforcement, government agencies, or legal authorities to request or subpoena.

7. GDPR Compliance (European Users)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the following rights under GDPR:

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

• Opt-out of the sale of personal information

9. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

Smoke Tracker is intended for adults ages 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18. The app is not directed at children.

If you believe a child under 18 has used our app, please contact us immediately at aytech.systems@gmail.com, and we will assist in removing the app and any associated data.

10. Your Data Rights

10.1 Data Ownership

You own all your data. Since it's stored locally on your device, you have complete control:

• Access: View all your data within the app
• Export: Export your data as a CSV file anytime
• Delete: Clear all data or delete specific entries
• Portability: Take your data to another app or service

10.2 Opting Out of Analytics

You can opt out of anonymous usage analytics in the app settings. This will not affect the app's functionality in any way.

11. Data Security

Your data security is ensured through our offline-first approach:

• Local storage: Data stays on your device, protected by your device's security
• No cloud sync: No risk of data breaches from our servers
• Encryption: Data is encrypted using your device's built-in security
• No tracking: We don't track you across apps or websites
• Secure connections: Any network requests use HTTPS encryption

12. Data Retention

Local Data: Your smoking logs are stored on your device indefinitely until you delete them manually or uninstall the app. Uninstalling the app will permanently delete all local data.

Anonymous Analytics: If enabled, anonymous usage data is retained for 90 days to improve app performance.

Crash Reports: Anonymous crash logs are retained for 90 days for debugging purposes.

13. International Data Transfers

Since your personal data is stored locally on your device and not transmitted to our servers, there are no international data transfers of your smoking logs or personal information.

Anonymous technical data (if you opt-in) may be processed by Firebase and RevenueCat, which operate globally. These services comply with appropriate data protection frameworks.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will notify users of any material changes through:

• In-app notifications
• Updates to our website
• Email notifications (if you've provided an email)
